1.Unanimity (noun)

Meaning: agreement by all people involved; consensus.
Synonyms: agreement, accord, harmony, concord, unity, union, solidarity, unison, consensus, like-mindedness, assent.
Antonyms: disagreement, division.
Example: Although there was near unanimity among the judges that privacy operates through different variants, there was no clear consensus on what these variants are. While Justice D.Y. Chandrachud offered a learned discussion of the different methods of classifying privacy, ultimately he chose to not embark upon ‘an exhaustive enumeration’ of the privacy categories. Justice R.F. Nariman expressed a clearer view, referring specifically to ‘physical privacy’, ‘informational privacy’, and the ‘privacy of choice’.
2.Delineate (verb)
Meaning: describe or portray (something) precisely.
Synonyms: describe, set forth, set out, present, outline, depict, portray, represent, characterize.
Example: It is unfortunate, though unsurprising, that the judges did not agree on what the constitutive variants of privacy are. Expressing a final view on classification was strictly not necessary to answer the reference. Nevertheless, this may have been an opportunity for the Court to delineate the broad contours within which privacy could structurally grow.
3.Ineptness (noun)
Meaning: Lacking or showing a lack of skill or competence; bungling or clumsy
Synonyms: clumsiness, ineptitude, maladroitness, slowness.
Example: Nothing shows up the ineptness of the state more than unpreparedness in the face of predictable events. In allowing tens of thousands of followers of the Dera Sacha Sauda sect to gather for a show of strength when their leader, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, was awaiting a judicial verdict in a rape case, the Haryana government abdicated its responsibility of maintaining law and order, and protecting life and property.
4.Caricature (verb)
Meaning: make or give a caricature of.
Synonyms: parody, satirize, lampoon, mimic, ridicule, mock, make fun of, burlesque.
Example: The Dera is a mirror to middle-class fantasies, a mirror which captures modernity by caricaturing and distorting it. A part of it is seen in Singh himself. His name embodies an idea of equality, the equality of all religions which goes beyond any secular ideology.
5.Poignant (adjective)
Meaning: evoking a keen sense of sadness or regret.
Synonyms: touching, moving, sad, saddening, affecting, pitiful, piteous, pitiable, pathetic, sorrowful, mournful, tearful, wretched, miserable, bitter, painful, distressing, disturbing, heart-rending, heartbreaking, tear-jerking, plaintive, upsetting, tragic.
Example: Listen to his song, ‘Love Charger’. There is a poignant mediocrity to his performance. Bhakti and karaoke combine in good measure as he sings an ode to the Satguru. In English, the mysticism disappears and rap and pop sneak up on you as laughable, watered-down mysticisms. The text is repetitive. You condemn it, but your body dances to it and you find yourself mumbling the lyrics. It is a song every student of mine hums, a karaoke song to god and guru exclaiming a faith where “any moment, any problem, in heart call you.”
6.Ludicrous (adjective)
Meaning: so foolish, unreasonable, or out of place as to be amusing.
Synonyms: absurd, ridiculous, farcical, laughable, risible, preposterous, foolish, idiotic, stupid, inane, silly, asinine, nonsensical.
Example: It could be dismissed as being ludicrous but the ludicrous sometimes captures our dreams more fully. The dream of equality can go back to the Bhakti movement, or it can summon the French Revolution. One thing is clear: democracy and modernisation have not delivered equality.
7.Peruse (verb)
Meaning: read (something), typically in a thorough or careful way, examine carefully or at length.
Synonyms: read, pore (over)
Example: Perusing a list of Dera Sacha Sauda ashrams in India, one can see them as terrains of social service or as personal enclaves full of sexual kinkiness, most probably a combination of both.
8.Conviviality (noun)
Meaning: the quality of being friendly and lively; friendliness.
Synonyms: friendliness, geniality, affability, amiability, congeniality, good humour, cordiality, warmth, warm-heartedness, good nature, sociability, gregariousness, clubbability.
Example: Politicians love to be invited as VIPs to these enclaves where spectacles are created which can boost their egos. Complicity and conviviality between these groups is witnessed as each fine-tunes the other in their joint march to power and history.
9.Assiduously (adverb)
Meaning: with great care and perseverance.
Example: Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the first Prime Minister from a  Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh background but he was accommodative,  not secular. While Nehru wanted a left-aligned India,  Mr. Modi is working assiduously to move it towards the right.
10.Iteration (noun)
Meaning: the repetition of a process or utterance., a new version of a piece of computer hardware or software., a procedure in which repetition of a sequence of operations yields results successively closer to a desired result.
Example: It is on display in the Bay of Bengal, where one of the largest-ever iterations of the Malabar exercise series is getting underway with aircraft carriers/helicopter carrier from India, the U.S., and Japan. We see it also in this weekend’s news, reported in this newspaper, that the government is conducting a national security review of Chinese investment in South Asia. Perhaps, in the coming weeks, 17 Corps will suddenly find that the purse strings have become looser too.
