Maharashtra Govt Job Vacancies:
In the wake of job requirements in the country and to strengthen the Rural governance, Maharashtra’s Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced on Wednesday that over the next two years, this government will hold recruitments for 72,000 vacancies mainly in its agriculture and rural development departments. This official government release said that vacancies will be filled in two phases — in the first phase, 36,000 posts will be filled by the end of 2018, and the remaining posts will be filled next year. The vacancies will be created for the posts of agriculture, rural development, home, public works, public health, water resources and horticulture departments. This is a glad tidings for Maharashtra natives after a long wait of 3 years when the state banned creation of new posts in 2015 and restricted recruitment owing to the rising wage bill.
