Our motive is to update you with none other than an authentic and official information regarding every govt. exam. Once again, pls note that the news on the delay of Railway ALP Stage-II 2018 Exam was untrue and we will keep on providing further refreshing updates regarding Railway Exams. For now, the only update regarding ALP Stage-II 2018 Exam is that the exam will conduct on previous dates viz. from 20th to 23rd January 2019.
First stage Computer Based Test (CBT): It was held from 9th Aug to 4th Sept 2018
Selection process:
For the post of ALP (Assistant Loco Pilot):-
- First stage CBT
- Second Stage CBT)
- Computer Based Aptitude Test (AT).
- Document Verification and Empanelling of Candidates
For the post of Technician:
- First stage CBT
- Second Stage CBT)
- Document Verification and Empanelling of Candidates
Note:Marks will be normalized in all the stages of exam.

- Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories : UR -40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, ST -25%.
- It will consist of multiple-choice objective type questions [bilingual (Hindi/English)]
- Negative Marking: For every wrong answer 1/3 marks will be deducted.
Stage -2 Part B
This part is qualifying in nature.

- This part is qualifying in nature and shall have questions from the trade syllabus prescribed by Director General of Employment & Training (DGET).
